Triund Trek

Triund trek is a serene and alluring trekking destination perfect for Beginners.

• Triund trek is only 7-8 km one side, starts from Mcleodganj (Bhagsu or Dharamkot) which takes you to the laps of the Dhauladhar Range, it offers astonishing views of the Dhauladhar ranges on one side and the gorgeous Kangra valley on the other.

• Triund trek usually takes only 4-5 hours to reach on the Triund Ridge (Top). Where your camps are pitched with the beautiful views of Moon peak in the background.

• Overnight stay at Triund is breathtaking with beautiful views of billions of stars and a very close view of Moon. The light from the moon lightens up the Moon peak brighter making it clearly visible during the night time.

• After staying overnight, You see beautiful sun rising throught the mountains. After morning we trek back to the base camp (Mcleodganj) within 3-4 hours only.

Triund Winter Season.

During Winter season Triund trek remains open only untill it snows heavy regularly creating 2-3 feet of snow, the camps are then shifted below to a safer zone. But the trek is open throughout the year even in snow and can be done with the proper guidance and gears.
