About Triund Trek
- Triund trek is only 7-8 km one side, starts from Mcleodganj (Bhagsu or Dharamkot) which takes you to the laps of the Dhauladhar Range, it offers astonishing views of the Dhauladhar ranges on one side and the gorgeous Kangra valley on the other.
- Triund trek usually takes only 4-5 hours to reach on the Triund Ridge (Top). Where your camps are pitched with the beautiful views of Moon peak in the background.
- Overnight stay at Triund is breathtaking with beautiful views of billions of stars and a very close view of Moon. The light from the moon lightens up the Moon peak brighter making it clearly visible during the night time.
- After staying overnight, You see beautiful sun rising throught the mountains. After morning we trek back to the base camp (Mcleodganj) within 3-4 hours only.

How to reach starting point of the Triund Trek?
By road
Book an overnight volvo from Delhi/chandigarh to Dharamshala (10-12 hrs), from Dharamshala taxis are easily available for Triund trek starting point which can be (Bhagsu or Dharamkot).
By Flight
Take flight to Dharamshala from there onwards hire a taxi for Bhagsu or Dharamkot as adviced.

Our Batch for Triund Trek starts at 9:30 to 10:00 am.
The trek satting point is only 1.7 km approx towards Bhagsu from Mcleodganj.
To Reach Triund top it takes only 4-6 hours one side.
Depending on the weather we can start from either Bhagsu or Galu Devi Mandir (Dharamkot)
Triund trek is considered one of the easiest treks for beginners. However participant should be physically fit to complete the trek.
To Reach Triund from Delhi board volvo bus from Delhi/Chandigarh directly available for Dharamshala. From Dharamshala reach Mcleodganj(Bhagsu) via taxi easily available (15 -20 mins drive). From Bhagsu you start the guided trek with TrekNgo team to Triund Top.
On Day 2 of the trek you start descending by 9:30 am - 10:00 am from Triund Top to Bhagsu(Mcleodganj) which may take 4 hours. So the trek may end by 1 pm to 3pm after your arrival in Mcleodganj.
In Triund Trek we provide Camping tents with sleeping bags and mattress. So you will be sleeping inside a camp inside sleeping bags.
There are only Dry pit common tent available for toilet facilities.
