1) Scenic Beauty: Bedni Bugyal is renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty. The word "Bugyal" in the local language means meadow, truly lives up to its name. The vast expanse of lush green meadows adorned with a variety of wildflowers and surrounded by snow-capped peaks presents a mesmerizing view that captivates trekkers and nature enthusiasts alike.
2 ) Starting Point: There are many rputes to do this trek - 1) From Sagar village, 2) From Mandal village via Ansuya mata temple, 3) Via Urgam Kalpeshwar and 4) Via Gwar. If anyone is planning to do the DIY trek then one must do it in a group via Sagar village, If you are experienced then this trek can be done via other routes as well buy only with the help of guides.
3) Trekking Difficulty: Initially the trek will appear easy upto Pung Bugyal 3 km , After 3 km the trek will beacome steep with loose boulders on the trail this route remains the same until Mooli, After Mooli the trek remains steep but no loose boulder anymore, Aftter that you will reach the meadows.. after reaching Liuti the trail becomes easier compared to the previous part. However you will be gaining altitute till pitradhar, After pitradhar the trail beacomes easier.
4) Alpine Lake: During the trek, trekkers have the opportunity to visit the picturesque Narad Kund, a serene alpine lake surrounded by mountains. The tranquil waters of the lake mirror the surrounding peaks, creating a captivating sight.
5) Meadows and its name : Liuti Bugyal, Panar Bugyal, Pung Bugyal.
The temple closes on Diwali every year.
Start early in the morning from Rishikesh at around 6-7 am, Drive from Rishikesh to Sagar village via Devprayag, Rudraparayag, Chopta.
Having a majestic view of valleys and the river throughout the day you will approximately cover 215kms and reach the meeting point by the evening.
Today’s stay will be here only so you can grab all the last-minute things and also visit the Gopinath Temple which is also the winter abode of Rudranath Mahadev
Make sure to have all the the necessary items and gears especially raincoats before starting the trek.
After morning darshan start early at around 8:00 am and start walking down to Mooli via panch ganga, Pitradhar, Pnar and Liuti Bugyal, which is around 12 km. 6-7 hours.tonight we will stay at mooli.
Be slow and witness as much beauty as you can as this will be your last day on the trek. Overnight say at Mooli.
Take breakfast today and start walking from Mooli to Sagar village via pung Bugyal.
Arrival at Sagar village overnight stay at homestay.
Checkout from the homestay and departure to Rishikesh. 215 km 7-8 hours drive, get dropped at Rishikesh by evening today.

During the start of the trek you may encounter a few shops local eateries, After 5 kms there may be no shop till Liuti Bugyal, Later after Liuti bugyal there will be no shops at all in the distance of 12 km till Rudranath mandir. hence its advised to come well prepared, After Liuti Bugyal its important to carry waterbottle, packed lunch.
From Liuti Bugyal to Rudranatah mandir it usually takes around 7-9 hours.
