Encompassed by the Dhauladhar goes in Kullu Valley is a blue-water lake called Parashar. Prashar Lake is a well-kept mystery in the Mandi area of Himachal Pradesh. The trek completes an enchanting trail a timberland and a few rivulets. On the way, one can appreciate the nearby culture as the trail experiences some villages also. The trek offers a 180-degree view of the Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal, and Kinnaur mountain ranges.

Parashar Lake Trek
After breakfast Get ready to trek to this beautiful Valley Parashar Lake The trek is of 7.5 Kms crossing woods and streams. In 400 metres, you reach a clearing from where you get the full view of the Dhauadhar range. Take a break here.
After 4 to 5 hours walk you get the full view of Dhauladar Ranges and you will reach Parashar Temple. Spend some time here and get ready to visit the beautiful campsite which is 2 kms away from Parashar Lake.
Rest in the tents and enjoy Bonfire at night.
Departure after sunrise session
After watching the sunrise and having Breakfast. Return to Baggi (3 hours) through a different route which takes you through dense forest and beautiful valley. Again Hanuman peak and Dhauladar Range is visible when you are in this valley. Board the Traveller and back to Delhi.
Arrive Delhi by midnight.
Parashar Lake lies 49 km north of Mandi Himachal Pradesh with a 3 story pagoda-like temple dedicated to Parashar Rishi. The altitude is 2730 meters above the sea level surrounded by beautiful Dhauladar range. The lake is also known as Floating Island as there is a ground like an island in the lake which keeps on floating and no one knows the mystery behind the lake. Parashar has its own charm and it varies from season to season.
